Judicial officials filed a combined 10 felony charges against a father and son Wednesday in connection with a fatal November crash that allegedly involved street racing.
Gregory Giles, 65, and Bruce Giles, 26, each face five charges, including vehicular homicide, vehicular assault and reckless driving, after two people were killed and three injured while the pair were allegedly street racing in Lakewood, according to a news release from the First Judicial District Attorney’s Office.
Two people — a 26-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man — died in the hospital after their Toyota 4Runner was hit by the two men while making a left turn at the intersection of South Kipling Parkway and West Mississippi Avenue on Nov. 13, according to the release.
