Denver police officer arrested on suspicion of felony eluding, reckless endangerment

DENVER (KDVR) — An officer with the Denver Police Department was arrested Friday afternoon in Jefferson County for investigation of felony eluding and reckless endangerment.

DPD said Friday that the officer, identified as Christopher Thomas, has been suspended without pay while the case goes through the judicial process.

Thomas joined DPD in 2021 and was most recently assigned to District One patrol, police said.
