Colorado has the second-cheapest gas in the country right now, but just how cheap can you fill up?

DENVER (KDVR) — Gas prices across the United States have dropped below $3 a gallon for the first time in four years, and Colorado drivers are seeing even steeper savings. The state currently has the second-cheapest gas in the country, averaging about $2.41 a gallon, according to AAA.

At a QuikTrip at East Evans Avenue and South Monaco Street in Denver, gas was selling for $1.69 a gallon on Monday. GasBuddy reports show that’s the lowest price point in the state.

The same deal can be found at the Shell station on East Evans Avenue and South Quebec Street. Monday, drivers lined up across the parking lot to take advantage of the low price.
