The Boulder Police Department provided its annual update in the murder that has captured curiosity for nearly 30 years.
Investigators have “followed up on every lead” in the 1996 death of 6-year-old JonBenét Ramsey — including more than 21,000 tips, and trips to 19 different states to interview over 1,000 individuals with connections to the case — according to the Friday press release.
“The killing of JonBenét was an unspeakable crime and this tragedy has never left our hearts,” Boulder Police Chief Steve Redfearn said. “We are committed to following up on every lead and we are continuing to work with DNA experts and our law enforcement partners around the country until this tragic case is solved.”…
