A shift in the picturesque facade of Havana Street in Aurora is set to unfold as the city invites creatives once again to add their sculptural flair to the streets. The Art in Public Places Program teams up with the Havana Business Improvement District to launch the call for entries for the 13th Art 2C On Havana Street sculpture exhibit, a biennial reshaping of this bustling avenue through the nuanced visions of artists.
According to the City of Aurora, submissions are open until the end of January, with a roster of 12 to 13 sculptures to be chosen for the public eye, each vying for a spot on Havana Street to make their mark from 2026 to 2028, the application process is managed through the Café website, and artists from a selection of neighboring states are called upon to showcase their works deemed fit to endure the Colorado elements.
