Shooting in central Aurora home leaves man with life-threatening injuries

AURORA | An unidentified man was critically injured Thursday morning after being shot by another man at a central Aurora home, police said.

Officers were called to a house in the 400 block of South Kingston Circle at about 8 a.m. after someone there called dispatchers to report a shooting.

“A man suffering from a gunshot wound was located and transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries,” Aurora police spokesperson Agent Matthew Wells-Longshore said in a statement. “The shooter was also located and detained and is currently being held for questioning by Major Crimes Unit detectives.”…
