‘We found treasure’: Maryland man discovers lost sister to Boulder’s Dushanbe Teahouse

Brian Jamison was hired to clean out a trash-riddled farm in Barnesville, Maryland, in 2015, when he came across something in the barn he couldn’t quite bring himself to throw away.

He’d found more than 100 crates filled with colorful designs on pieces of wooden panels. What Jamison saved that day turned out to be a lost teahouse that was made by the same artists who created the Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse.

Instead of throwing it away, Jamison moved the crates filled with teahouse pieces off the farm and has kept them in storage for the past decade. Now he is enlisting the help of people in Boulder to figure out what to do with them…
