Fast food is a popular part of American eating culture. That said, Americans’ favorite fast food restaurants vary significantly from state to state, according to a recent study from Visual Capitalists.
Per the report, the favorite fast food restaurant among Coloradans is Qdoba, founded in Denver in the 1990s. Qdoba’s founding followed that of another popular Mexican fast-casual restaurant that was also founded in the Mile High City – Chipotle.
Chipotle was founded in 1993 in Denver in a former ice cream shop near the University of Denver. Qdoba was founded not long after that, in 1995. The restaurants have since competed to be the top Mexican fast-casual restaurant, especially in Colorado.
