DENVER (KDVR) — The Lakewood Police Department is asking the public for help after an assault involving 6-to-8 juvenile suspects allegedly left a 58-year-old man in the hospital on New Year’s Day.
LPD said the alleged assault occurred at approximately 6:50 a.m. on New Year’s Day outside a home in the 1400 block of South Fenton Street. The victim of the alleged assault remains in the hospital, as of Tuesday afternoon.
Driver allegedly assaulted by owner of dog hit by car
The alleged attackers include both male and female suspects, according to police. Witnesses said the juveniles may have fled the scene in a white or light-colored SUV.
