LAKEWOOD, Colo. — Lakewood police are searching for a group of juveniles accused of assaulting a 58-year-old man outside his home early on New Year’s Day.
Police say officers responded to reports of an assault around 6:50 a.m. on Jan. 1 in the 1400 block of South Fenton Street, just off West Florida Avenue.
Investigators believe the man was attacked outside his home by six to eight juvenile suspects, described as both male and female. Witnesses reported the suspects may have fled the scene in a white or light-colored SUV. The victim remains hospitalized…
