ICE shooting in Minnesota sparks protests across Colorado

DENVER — The fatal shooting of a woman by a federal immigration officer in Minneapolis has set off protests and vigils across the country and around Colorado amid growing public anger over aggressive ICE operations.

Friday night, a crowd carrying signs with messages criticizing ICE and the federal government’s handling of the shooting gathered on the steps of the Capitol building around 6 p.m. before marching down 16th Street to Union Station.
