COLORADO, USA — There’s still no complete list of Colorado gas stations that received diesel instead of unleaded fuel last week, causing car trouble for hundreds of drivers across the Front Range.
Last week, state regulators confirmed diesel in unleaded gas tanks at several stations throughout the area. HF Sinclair, one of the largest fuel suppliers in the Denver metro area, confirmed the contaminated fuel came from its terminal in Adams County. The Colorado Division of Oil and Public Safety said Monday that it had received more than 400 complaints from drivers.
As of Monday afternoon, King Soopers, Safeway, Circle K and Murphy Express had all confirmed to 9NEWS that some of their stations received contaminated fuel. 9NEWS independently confirmed that several Costco locations and two Sinclair locations were impacted…
