DENVER (KDVR) — The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office arrested a suspect last month accused of stealing a $700 coffee machine from a Target store in Highlands Ranch.
The sheriff’s office said Wednesday that the suspect fled the Target in a bright orange sedan and was “quickly spotted” by a deputy who then initiated a traffic stop.

The deputy was able to see the coffee machine in plain view in the vehicle, according to the sheriff’s office, which said the suspect was taken into custody without incident.
The sheriff’s office posted a video of the traffic stop, which appears to show the DCSO deputy informing the vehicle occupants of why they were stopped and asking if they had a receipt or charge for the coffee machine, prior to a person being placed in handcuffs…
