Viewer video of unlicensed hot dog vendors downtown Denver raises safety concerns

DENVER (KDVR) — Viewer-submitted video showing unlicensed hot dog vendors operating along a busy downtown Denver nightlife corridor is raising public safety concerns, according to city officials and workers in the area.

The video, shared with FOX31, shows hot dog carts lining sidewalks near 20th Street and Market Street. The footage also shows children working at or assisting with some of the stands late at night.

Workers in the area told FOX31 they have seen families operating the carts and said they are concerned about children being in that environment during overnight hours, citing heavy foot traffic and nearby nightlife activity.
