CHERRY HILLS VILLAGE, Colo — An 18-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a series of vandalism incidents along the High Line Canal Trail in Cherry Hills Village.
The Cherry Hills Village Police Department said the same person was responsible for multiple criminal mischief incidents that occurred overnight along the trail south of East Quincy Avenue and north of East Belleview Avenue between November and earlier this month.
There have been six reports of damage to trash cans and signposts along the trail since early November, though the damage has been minimal, according to police. Investigators were initially unsure when the damage occurred because the incidents were not witnessed and instead were reported by city maintenance staff who were changing the trash cans.
