Highlands Ranch woman elected to serve on Alzheimer’s Association board

Holding a flower pinwheel in a crowd of people getting ready to take part in a Walk to End Alzheimer’s event, Highlands Ranch resident Jennifer Roitz thought about the journey she took to take care of her mother.

After caring for her mother who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, Roitz, who is the vice president of change management for Empower, has recently been elected to the board of directors for the Alzheimer’s Association Colorado Chapter.

“I just find it incredibly rewarding,” Roitz said. “(It’s) make your problem your passion or make your mess your message.”…
