Bullets Fly On Quebec Street As Highlands Ranch Road Rage Suspect Is Nabbed

A Highlands Ranch road rage encounter that ended in gunfire has landed a 43-year-old man behind bars, after Douglas County deputies say another driver’s car was left riddled with bullets, but miraculously, no one was hurt. Officials have identified the suspect as Mitchell Aaron Weber, who now faces a slate of felony charges.

Official Statement and Charges

According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting happened on Friday near Quebec Street and Wildcat Ridge. Deputies say Weber was arrested Saturday morning and booked on attempted first-degree murder and illegal discharge of a firearm charges. “I am extremely proud of the relentless dedication shown by our deputies and investigators,” Sheriff Darren Weekly said.
