Arrest affidavit: 2-year-old often hit before death

DENVER (KDVR) — An arrest affidavit acquired by FOX31 for a suspect connected to the death of a two-year-old states that, before her death, she was frequently hit and yelled at by the suspect.

On Jan. 18, around 5:32 a.m., 911 was called to report an unresponsive child. Emergency responders arrived at a house in the 100 block of South Vrain Street to find an adult man giving CPR to the child before responders took over life-saving measures themselves.
