LAKEWOOD, Colo. (KDVR) — Neighbors in Lakewood said a severely dilapidated property near West 13th Avenue and Urban Street has been a public safety and environmental concern for nearly a decade — despite repeated complaints to the city.
The property sits directly next to the Daniels Preschool and Community Center. Residents told FOX31 that the yard is filled with junked cars, RVs and piles of trash and debris that have gone unchecked for years.

One nearby homeowner said neighbors have been formally reporting the property for more than 10 years, raising ongoing concerns about code violations and public safety issues.
