Colorado-based chicken company announces recall

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Colorado-based RedBird Farms is recalling nearly 2,000 pounds of chicken because of a health risk.

The Englewood company said in a release that it is recalling 432 pounds of its RedBird teriyaki-flavored chicken party wings and 1,410 pounds of its RedBird teriyaki-flavored frenched chicken drumsticks due to an undeclared allergen. The release said the products contain sesame oil, a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label.

RedBird Farms said both products were produced on Jan. 21 and Jan. 22 and have sell-by dates of Feb. 13 and Feb. 14. The recalled items were distributed to King Soopers and City Market stores in Colorado…
