A person was rescued and taken to the hospital in critical condition after they fell through ice at Sand Creek Park in Aurora Tuesday evening.
Around 7 p.m., a witness at the park saw an adult and three dogs walking near the frozen-over pond in the 2500 block of North Fitzsimons Parkway, according to Tuesday social media posts from Aurora Fire Rescue.
