A teen was arrested by Aurora Police Friday after he fled the scene of a fatal crash he allegedly caused by running a red light.
Jonathan Garcia, 19, faces vehicular homicide and reckless driving charges after he ran a red light at the intersection of North Peoria Street and East 13th Avenue and t-boned a Volvo sedan with his Chevy Trailblazer around 8 p.m. Friday, according to a news release from the Aurora Police Department.
The adult driver of the sedan was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after, according to the release. A 1-year-old child in the sedan was also hospitalized, and remains there in serious condition…
