Denver police are investigating after a person was shot Saturday in the 500 block of N Alton Way in the city’s Lowry area. The wounded person got to a hospital on their own, and officers say the injuries are considered non-life-threatening while the search for answers continues. No suspect information has been released.
According to a post from the Denver Police Dept. on X, “one person self-transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.” The department added that the investigation is ongoing and reminded residents that its X account is not monitored around the clock.
