Reward increases 27 years after Westminster triple homicide

WESTMINSTER, Colo. (KDVR) — Westminster police are upping the reward for a cold case almost 27 years after a dad, his 9-year-old daughter and a work associate were murdered.

Pictures show the faces of 9-year-old Sarah Skiba, her father Paul and his business associate, Lorenzo Chivers, all loved ones to families who haven’t seen them in almost 27 years.

“We have three people that we’re missing, and each family is important,” Westminster Police Department Detective Troy Gordanier said. “We want to be sure to bring some closure to the family.”

On Feb. 7, 1999, Paul owned a moving company, Tuff Movers, located in the 7100 block of Raleigh Street. Sarah tagged along for some moves that day with her dad and Lorenzo. However, when they got back to the truck yard, around 7 p.m., something happened.
