Colorado Law Enforcement Seeking Help in 24-Year-Old Cold Case

On January 17, 2002, a shocking triple murder took place at a bowling alley in Littleton, Colorado. Now, just over 24 years later, it appears that the FBI has a renewed interest in the cold case.

A Shocking Triple Murder at a Colorado Bowling Alley

The murders took place at the AMF Broadway Bowling Lanes bowling alley while the bowling alley was closed. Two of the victims, 30-year-old James Springer and 27-year-old Erin Golla, were working at the bowling alley at the time, while the third victim, 24-year-old Robert Zajac, was employed at a different bowling alley at the time.

The assailant is believed to have previously attempted to rob the bowling alley, and after closing up the establishment, the three victims were all shot and killed by the unidentified man.

The incident took place just before midnight, and the three deceased individuals’ bodies were discovered by a friend of the victims who arrived shortly thereafter to pick them up.

Colorado Triple Murderer’s Description

While the man responsible for the murders has yet to be identified, the FBI has provided a description. At the time of the murders, the assailant was described as being a white male, weighing an estimated 220 pounds, around six feet tall, and having a bald, shaved head at the time.

He has also been described as wearing a trench coat and driving a dark-colored truck at the time.
