BRIGHTON, Colo. — A man who pleaded guilty in connection with the attempted abduction of a 15-year-old girl outside Thornton Middle School was sentenced Friday.
Court records show Steven Housman, 18, pleaded guilty in Adams County court in December to second-degree kidnapping and attempted sexual assault. He was sentenced to eight years in prison for the kidnapping charge and 90 days in jail for the attempted sexual assault charge. He must spend 10 years in the Intensive Supervision Program for sex offenders upon his release.
