DENVER (KDVR) — IKEA announced its plans to open several new stores in across the country this year, including another location in Colorado.
The Swedish store, known for its massive size and as a one-stop shop for anything in your house, is expanding. On Tuesday, IKEA released its annual summary for 2025 and its plans for 2026, which include new locations across the United States.

IKEA said in 2026, it’s planning on opening stores in Los Angeles, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Chicago and in Fort Collins, Colorado. These are only some of the 10 storefronts it’s planning on opening this year.
A spokesperson for IKEA said the Colorado storefront will be located in the Front Range Village Shopping Center at 4250 Corbett Drive and will cover about 64,000 square feet. The Fort Collins store will have 3,200 items for immediate takeaway, and 250 small furniture items. The store will also have IKEA’s iconic food, like the meatballs, hot dogs and cinnamon buns…
