A 24-year-old man died Wednesday after a box truck rolled on westbound Interstate 76 near East Bromley Lane in Brighton, leaving the vehicle on its side and the driver fatally injured. Police said he was ejected from the truck and was not wearing a seat belt. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Crash details
According to Denver7, Brighton police said the crash happened around 10:15 a.m. and left the box truck blocking the westbound lanes of I-76 near E. Bromley Lane. Officers closed the roadway so investigators could document the scene. Police said the truck ended up resting on its side and that no one else was hurt.
