2 arrested after Latino businesses ‘terrorized’ by burglaries: Police

DENVER (KDVR) — The Commerce City Police Department on Wednesday announced it has arrested two alleged burglars accused of “targeting and terrorizing” Latino-owned businesses across the Denver metro area.

The burglaries started in November 2025 and have continued through February this year, Commerce City police said in a press release.

Six burglaries happened in Commerce City alone, but police said the alleged burglars have made off with hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash across multiple jurisdictions, including Aurora, Denver, Lakewood, Littleton, Adams County, Arapahoe County, Sheridan and Thornton.
