17-year-old caught going 56 miles per hour over speed limit

DENVER (KDVR) — A 17-year-old was caught traveling 56 miles per hour over the speed limit in Parker, according to a social media post from the Parker Police Department.

Officers pulled the teenager over after they were clocked going 91 mph in a 35 mph zone.

In the social media post, the department said that had the driver not been a teenager, they would have been taken to jail.

They will not go unpunished, however, with the department stating that the teen will lose their driver’s license and their insurance rates will skyrocket if they do eventually get a license back…
