SHERIDAN, Colo. (KDVR) — Born and raised in Chicago, Hans Gross’s first job as an officer was for the Highland Park Police Department.
“It’s a nice experience in a nice suburb of Chicago. We did have some problems, but it was still nice for me to get started as a police officer,” said Gross.
He migrated west like a lot of folks did and spent 33 years at the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office as a deputy and retired as a sergeant.
