Denver, Colorado – Snow-covered lanes along I-70 near the Eisenhower Tunnel are already slowing traffic early Wednesday, and heavier bursts through midday could drop visibility below a half mile across the Front Range Mountains.
According to the National Weather Service in Denver and Boulder, a Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for the Front Range Mountains through early Thursday morning. Additional snowfall of 6 to 14 inches is expected in higher elevations, including areas near Berthoud Pass, Loveland Pass and Rabbit Ears Pass.
