Suburban steak fans just got a serious upgrade. The Capital Grille is set to debut a new Lone Tree location later this month, bringing the upscale steakhouse brand into the busy Park Meadows corridor and sparing Douglas County diners a trek into downtown Denver for a high-end night out.
The restaurant is planned for the former Red Lobster site at 9067 Westview Road, just west of Park Meadows Mall. City planning documents describe an 8,897-square-foot, single-story building with roughly 256 seats. The project calls for demolishing the existing structure and putting up a new restaurant with sidewalk connections, landscaping and exterior lighting, according to the City of Lone Tree project page.

The Lone Tree restaurant will be The Capital Grille’s second Colorado location, joining its downtown Denver outpost on Larimer Square. The new spot is slated to open later this month, as reported by the Denver Business Journal. The steakhouse is part of Darden Restaurants’ portfolio, according to BusinessDen.
