Truck driver hospitalized, United flight deplaned after Denver airport crash

The driver of a de-icing truck was hospitalized and a United Airlines flight was deplaned after a crash at Denver International Airport Friday morning.

Amid heavy snowfall, United Airlines flight 605 headed to Nashville hit the truck while leaving the de-icing pad around 8:30 a.m. Friday, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said.

The driver of the truck, an employee of the contractor used by DIA for the de-icing service, was hospitalized from the collision, a spokesperson with United Airlines said Friday. None of the flight’s 122 passengers or six crew members reported any injuries from the incident…
