Woman injured in early morning bus stop drive-by shooting: Police

DENVER (KDVR) — A woman sitting at an Aurora bus stop was shot in an apparent drive-by shooting early Sunday morning, according to the Aurora Police Department.

The shooting happened around 5:30 a.m. Sunday in the 9600 block of East Colfax Avenue, police said in a press release.

A woman was sitting at a bus stop in the area when an unknown vehicle pulled up and fire a gun, hitting the woman in the leg. She was taken to a hospital for treatment, and police said her injuries do not appear to be life-threatening…
