DENVER (KDVR) — Crews responded to a large residential fire in Englewood, according to a statement made to FOX31 by the Denver Fire Department.
The fire department said the fire was located in the 2000 block of West Harvard Avenue and was a single-alarm fire as of 2:45 p.m.

In a post on X at 3:28 p.m., the Denver Fire Department said that crews were working a stubborn house fire, and that “hoarder conditions” made for tough extinguishment, creating extreme heat and fire.
A plume of smoke could be seen on Colorado Department of Transportation cameras along U.S. Highway 85 near West Union Avenue.
FOX31’s Hanna Powers was at the scene of the fire, and said that the building is a duplex located on the line between Englewood and Denver, and that smoke from the fire can be seen from two miles away.
