COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — A 22-year-old man has been arrested months after a Colorado State Patrol trooper who pulled him over for speeding found a woman’s body inside his vehicle.
Brandon Sargent-Zuniga faces charges of vehicular homicide and leaving the scene of a crash involving death. According to Commerce City Police, a trooper pulled over Sargent-Zuniga on Jan. 16 near East 74th Avenue and Colorado Boulevard.
At the time, police said Sargent-Zuniga and his passenger, a 23-year-old woman, were involved in an earlier collision on Interstate 270 in which he struck a parked RV.
