AURORA, Colo. — A fire in Aurora Saturday morning was started by sparking lithium-ion batteries, Aurora Fire Rescue says. That fire destroyed a garage before spreading into the home, and firefighters urge proper care of those batteries to prevent it from happening to you.
The fire happened around 5:30 a.m. in the 900 block of North Idalia Circle, just around the corner from Aurora Fire Rescue Station No. 5.
