PHOENIX, AZ (KDVR) — You can add another accolade to Colorado’s own Lauren Betts’ resume.
The Grandview graduate was named the NCAA Tournament’s Most Outstanding Player as the University of California, Los Angeles, won the 2026 national championship.
“What an amazing way to finish off the season with a national championship, knowing that we did everything to get there basketball-wise,” said Betts, who had 14 points and 11 rebounds in the Bruins’ 79–51 victory over South Carolina on Sunday. “You show up, do your job, be serious, and compete. But it’s a long journey that we’ve been on together. I think you can find the fun in all of it.”…
