DENVER (KDVR) — It is an odd sight at Huston Lake Park, not far from Alameda Avenue and Federal Boulevard — all of the lake’s water is gone.
Many people who live in the neighborhood said they have never seen Lake Huston in Athmar Park this dry. So dry, FOX31 found a man and his son hunting for treasure in an area that would normally be underwater.

“I live down the street for years with my dad, and it’s always been full (of water). People fishing here, and eagles come here,” Tiercel Duerson said.
FOX31 first told you about water levels dropping at this lake near Federal and Alameda about a month ago. Denver Parks and Recreation said the lake has been experiencing problems for several reasons…
