DENVER — A man who had already pleaded guilty to killing two men in Aurora last year while he was on parole has now pleaded guilty to another murder in Denver.
Ricky Lee Roybal-Smith agreed Thursday to plead guilty to the 2025 death of Vincent Chacon. Chacon and Roybal-Smith were cellmates inside the downtown Denver jail at the time of the murder.
As part of the plea deal, Roybal-Smith was sentenced to 48 years in prison. The sentence is to be served concurrently – and not consecutively – with the 80-year sentence he received last month for the Aurora homicides…
