A beloved South Metro staple is working toward a comeback after an unexpected setback.
Los Dos Potrillos Mexican Restaurant’s Littleton location, situated at 10065 West San Juan Way, was forced to temporarily close following a kitchen fire in early March 2026. All guests and team members were safely evacuated, and no injuries were reported. In an April 2 update, the team shared that recovery efforts are actively underway.
“We are incredibly grateful that all guests and team members were safely evacuated and that no one was injured,” the statement reads. “Since that day, our focus has been on assessing the damage, completing necessary repairs, and ensuring the space meets the highest safety standards before reopening. While progress is being made, the Littleton restaurant remains temporarily closed as this work continues.”…
