I get it… nobody in Colorado loves speed cams. Actually, that’s not true. People who live around the speed cams probably do, because it slows people down.
In an age of immediate gratification, people just seem to be moving faster everywhere, all the time. And it creates a dangerous environment where people are walking, kids are playing, pets are roaming, etc.
So many communities are posting video cameras for speed enforcement, and the City of Longmont is one of them. That apparently struck a nerve with a man on a bicycle, who rode up to some of those cameras overnight Sunday into Monday with a can of spray paint…
