Residents displaced more than 3 years after Club Valencia fire, case headed to trial

DENVER (KDVR) — More than a hundred residents are still displaced years after a fire at the Club Valencia condos in Arapahoe County. Now, the case between their HOA and the insurance company that denied their claims is headed to trial.

“Every person I talk to and share the story with, they are flabbergasted, stunned, bewildered, and they wonder how we’re all managing,” Displaced Resident Chris Childress said. “And a lot of us aren’t. A lot of us really aren’t.”
