A man has been arrested in connection with the death of a 66-year-old woman found dead in Thornton last week.
Thornton Police Department officers on Friday responded to the 1900 block of West 101st Avenue on a welfare check and found the body of a woman. She was believed to have been killed sometime in the previous day or two.
Police on Sunday asked for the public’s assistance in locating Joshua Lafayette Pittman, 35, who was identified as a person of interest in the case. He was believed to have known the victim and was identified as a suspect in the case as the investigation progressed…
