Aurora police catch 2 suspect vehicles with grapplers

DENVER (KDVR) — Aurora police officers used their grappler system to stop two fleeing suspects over the last two weeks, according to a post on X from the Aurora Police Department.

The first incident occurred on April 18 when officers attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was seen driving without license plates in the area around East Mississippi Avenue and South Moline Street.

After the officers attempted the stop, the suspect vehicle fled from the scene. Officers said that the driver threw an empty beer bottle out of the vehicle during the pursuit.
