Neighbors raise safety concerns over repeated crashes near Denver school

DENVER (KDVR) — Neighbors in Denver’s Jefferson Park neighborhood say a confusing intersection next to a school has become a repeated crash site — and after months of raising concerns, they say they’re still waiting for action.

Residents point to the intersection of 26th Avenue and Clay Street, where they say the current traffic setup is contributing to collisions. One direction of traffic has a stop sign, while the other does not — something neighbors say creates confusion for drivers.
