DENVER (KDVR) — A four-time Michelin Bib Gourmand–awarded restaurant in New York is opening up another location in Denver, replacing the former Super Mega Bien in RiNo.
Ravi Derossi and Drew Brady first opened Soda Club, known for its fresh pasta, natural wine and cocktail bar, in 2021 in New York City’s East Village. The restaurant has been recognized as a Michelin Bib Gourmand pick every year since opening. Now, Brady and Derossi, who’s a Colorado local, are bringing the concept to Denver.

Derossi, a James Beard Award–nominated restaurateur, owns Death & Co, and now they’re expanding right next door. At The Ramble Hotel at 1260 25th Street, where shuttered Super Mega Bien used to be, Soda Club is set to open this summer.
“When Drew and I were envisioning Soda Club, we were inspired by the relaxed European natural wine bars that function as true neighborhood spots, encouraging a convivial atmosphere where guests can gather over shared bottles and an approachable menu,” Derossi said. “When we decided to expand Soda Club, Denver was our first choice. It’s exciting to bring this vision back to my home state in such a vibrant location.”
Soda Club is described as “intimate, moody, and low-lit,” and it will have 70 seats inside and 30 seats on the patio. It will offer rotating fresh pasta dishes, a 200-plus bottle natural wine list and a Sicilian-style approach to Soda Club’s menu based on executive chef Amira Gharib’s Egyptian descent…
