DENVER — The Colorado Dragon Boat Festival will once again be held at Sloan’s Lake after environmental concerns put the viability of the event’s traditional venue in doubt.
Last year, the festival was moved from its usual July dates to September due in part to the potential presence of blue-green algae. Organizers said that if conditions continued to deteriorate, they may have to consider alternate venues in the future.
