Two from Colorado arrested on drug counts in Jackson County

MAYETTA, Kan. (WIBW) – Two people have been arrested in connection with drug crime following a traffic stop in Jackson County, authorities announced Monday morning.

The traffic stop was conducted shortly before 9 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, on Q.4 Road near 158th Road, said Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse. The location was just southwest of Mayetta.

A 2002 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck was stopped by a Jackson County sheriff’s deputy for alleged traffic violations, Morse said.

A probable cause search of the vehicle resulted in the arrest of the driver, Terry L. Miller, 53, of Lakeland, Colorado, and the passenger, Angelina Sherree Weatherspoon, 40, of Brighton, Colorado…
